Accessible website design & development
The Association of European Coliac Societies (AOECS) enlisted the help of EdgeThreeSixty to bring their outdated website into the modern day. We provided a fully responsive website with a bespoke design and modern layout, with a simple and easy-to-use CMS. The new site also boasts a number of technical features, including user accounts, a file depository, event calendar and a number of email functions.
The primary objective that the AOECS want their website to achieve is exchange knowledge and information, as well as highlight the work that volunteers across Europe carry out in order to create a better future for coeliacs across the continent.
The AOECS’s old website had a number of drawbacks that prevented the organisation from achieving these goals in full, and EdgeThreeSixty’s job was to rectify this. It was also important for the organisation that the website have high levels of accessibility in order to cater to the needs of all types of users. This was no problem at all for EdgeThreesixty’s accessibility specialists.
